Job summary

RSI in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for highly specialized technical, engineering, scientific, nuclear, and cybersecurity roles supporting DOE, NNSA, DoD and federal programs.

The role targets hard-to-fill positions, including those requiring security clearances, and partners with security personnel to manage sponsorship and onboarding; hybrid work with on-site in Oak Ridge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or professional experience equivalency.
• At least 10 years of recruiting experience, with 3+ years in technical or cleared environments.
• Experience recruiting for DOE, NNSA, DoD, national laboratories, or federal contractors.
• Experience recruiting for engineering, scientific, cybersecurity, nuclear, environmental, or project management roles.
• Experience recruiting candidates requiring security clearances and special access.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for specialized technical and federal programs.
• Recruit for DOE, NNSA, DoD, labs, and government contractor roles.
• Identify and engage active and passive candidates through sourcing channels.
• Develop pipelines with candidates holding security clearances.
• Partner with managers to understand technical requirements and staffing needs.
• Screen resumes and conduct candidate assessments for security eligibility and fit.
• Coordinate interviews, evaluations, offers, and onboarding.
• Collaborate with FSOs on clearance sponsorship and onboarding considerations.
• Develop strategies for surge staffing and program mobilizations.
• Attend industry events to build candidate pipelines and stay market-aware.
