Job summary

Belcan seeks a Systems Engineer for an on-site, 12-month assignment in Tucson, AZ. The role centers on test equipment development and coordinating requirements across engineering teams to deliver robust test environments.

The candidate should hold a STEM degree with 2+ years of systems engineering experience in test, including development, planning, and validation. A U.S. Government Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM with a minimum of two years of engineering experience (or STEM Master's in lieu).
• Experience in test requirements development, test planning, test techniques, and integration/validation for test.
• Past experience applying a systems engineering approach to all test-related activities throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate across engineering teams to define, design, and document test environment capabilities and requirements.
• Utilize models, simulations, test beds, prototypes, hardware integration, and embedded test protocols for lifecycle testing.
• Engage in broad DoD contract work and address customer affordability with effective cost measurements.
• Identify technology risks and their impact on program outcomes to influence test strategy.
