Northrop Grumman is seeking a software engineer in Huntsville, AL to design, develop, test, and sustain mission-critical C2 software for Global C2 Solutions.

You will work on SAFe teams, using Java and C++, Linux, Bash, Python, and modern tools like Git/GitLab, Jira/Confluence, MBSE Cameo as needed. A SECRET clearance is required.

This role offers collaboration across hardware, software, and IT, with opportunities to advance in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Associate Software Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Software Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and at least 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Object-oriented software development experience in Java and C++.
• Experience with Linux-based development and runtime environments, including scripting with Bash and Python.
• Experience with modern configuration management and source control tools (e.g., Git, GitLab).
• Familiarity with Agile development using SAFe and Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and sustain mission-critical C2 software for Global C2 missions.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and collaborative teams across the organization.
• Participate on SAFe Scrum teams to develop and maintain software products across baselines.
• Provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems aligned with program objectives.
