Job summary

ROI Services LLC seeks a Tracking Mission Engineer to analyze space and ground architectures, mature models, and build scenarios that capture system-of-systems effects in complex environments. You will support verification against the Enterprise Requirements Document and work with SDA customers and DoD/NRO programs.

The role requires 15+ years of space/ground systems experience or 17+ years with a related bachelor’s degree, strong communication, and team collaboration skills.

About the Role

Our Tranche 3 Program Integration team has a need for a tracking Mission Engineer with experience analyzing space and ground system architectures through mission thread development and simulation. We are looking for innovative, creative, and highly motivated individuals to mature models and build scenarios (GRMs and DRMs) that effectively capture system of systems effects in complex operational environments. Candidate will provide systems engineering and integration expertise in support of the SDA T3 Tracking mission capabilities. Candidate will assess integrated component program designs (Space Vehicles and Ground Systems) and develop verification and validation approaches against the Enterprise Requirements Document (ERD).

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Math, Science or Engineering with 15+ Years of demonstrated system engineering and integration experience with space, ground, operations and sustainment segments of DoD or NRO programs with a proven delivery record or a bachelor\'s degree in Math, Science or Engineering with 17+ Years of demonstrated experience.

Required Skills

• Experience working across space and ground segment organizations to coordinate and identify system requirements that ensure end-to-end mission performance requirements are met.
• Strong understanding of modeling, simulation, and mission analysis techniques and tools.
• Experienced at self-starting, seeking solutions, and working well in a team environment.
• Demonstrated experience working with SDA/DoD/NRO customers in an acquisition environment, with space and/or ground systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

• Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR), other missile defense or related space-based ISR experience.
• Experience analyzing System Availability (AO or AF).

Pay range and compensation package

Active TS/SCI clearance.
