Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Senior Applied AI/ML Engineer to support Special Operations with end-to-end data and ML capabilities. You will build scalable data pipelines, apply analytics and machine learning, deploy models and services into production, and deliver analyst‑facing applications and tools.

The ideal candidate blends strong data engineering with applied data science and software development, working across ingestion, transformation, modeling, API exposure, and production services for mission

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8+ years in data engineering/science or software engineering.
• Strong Python, PySpark, and SQL programming.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines for large datasets.
• Experience deploying analytics/ML applications and services.
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT, data quality, and data stores.
• Ability to translate mission problems into practical data/software solutions.
• Collaborative team player willing to work at a customer site in Northern VA.
