Allied Universal is seeking a Cleared Security Officer Patrol Driver in Aurora, CO. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service at an aerospace and defense location.

Must have a valid driver's license and active DoD Top Secret clearance. The role is full-time with a pay rate of $28.18 per hour, and requires effective communication and log maintenance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance required.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation by law.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories evaluated lawfully.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Job Description

As a Cleared Security Officer Patrol Driver in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document security-related incidents and observations.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, complete required reports, and communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
