Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer with an active clearance for a Salt Lake City area aerospace and defense site. The position requires greeting visitors, verifying credentials, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents overnight.

You will work Monday through Friday from 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM, earning $21.69 per hour with comprehensive benefits. Minimum requirements include at least one year in security, a DoD Secret clearance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, and assist with emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct authorized visitors, verify identification and access credentials, and maintain visitor logs.
• Monitor access points and security systems from a fixed post; report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly following site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Support a professional reception environment by providing information and coordinating with site contacts.
