Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in Arlington, VA seeks a Cleared Software Engineer specializing in Java and Spring Boot to contribute to the OpenFGA wrapper service and supporting tools. You will implement API endpoints, manage data model features, write tests, and contribute to CI/CD improvements while collaborating across teams in a cloud-native AWS environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cloud-native development on AWS (preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Java and building microservices using Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, and streaming concepts.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Familiarity with automated build and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
• Active DOD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Implement API endpoints and business logic for wrapper service.
• Develop features for OpenFGA data model management.
