Job summary

Kaizen seeks a senior engineer to shape AI-native features across a government-scale platform used by millions of Americans. You will drive architectural decisions, mentor teammates, and own critical components with direct influence on what is built.

You will work with Palantir Foundry, AIP, and Maven Smart System, set technical direction, and collaborate with federal stakeholders in a hybrid role based in NYC or DC. Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience with a track record of owning complex features.
• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, AIP, or Maven Smart System.
• Fluency with React/Next.js and Node.js/TypeScript/Postgres.
• Experience using AI coding tools to speed development.
• Ability to operate with ambiguity and focus on end users.

Responsibilities

• Architect full-stack features end-to-end from design to production.
• Lead integration with Palantir Foundry stack and pipelines.
• Set technical direction and raise code quality standards.
• Mentor engineers and translate real-world needs into deliverables.
• Collaborate with federal stakeholders to define requirements.
