Qualifications

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Five years of relevant geospatial experience (military or civilian)
Or, High School with 4+ years GPC I/II or Bachelor’s degree + 2 years’ experience
Experience in geography, cartography and GIS including ArcGIS applications
Experience creating shapefiles, geodatabases, and features
Knowledge of digital cartography, image processing, GIS and NGA data formats
Ability to analyze imagery and non-imagery source information for NGA hydrographic products

Responsibilities

Provide cartographic production and GIS analysis in a government-contractor team
Perform Electronic Nautical Chart conversion, production and review
Extract features from nautical charts, hydrographic survey data and ortho-rectified imagery
Update source catalogs and perform data conversion/migration
