The Data Center Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) are Amazon’s front line responders for hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation in data centers. You’ll work 12‑hour shifts for 24/7 coverage, with safety and security at the core of every

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated locations
• Ability to work non-standard hours including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment within the data center
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs
• Perform limited maintenance tasks (filters, HVAC PMs, rack power installs)
• Provide support to Data Center Operations technicians
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures
• Ensure safety procedures are followed during all tasks
• Walk job sites, work at heights, and lift up to 49 pounds as needed
• Utilize CMMS to manage building workflows and inventory

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
