Job summary

UCT in Scarborough, ME is seeking a Technician I to support cleanroom operations, performing chemical and manual cleaning of parts per SOPs and Lean manufacturing guidelines. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, documentation, and continuous skill development in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have a High School diploma (AA preferred) and 1 year of manufacturing experience; 3+ years is preferred. Knowledge of hazardous chemical handling and 6S is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred; AA degree in a technical field preferred.
• 1 year in manufacturing; 3+ years hands-on experience preferred.
• Kaizen/Lean training is a plus.
• Quality Assurance experience helpful.
• Semiconductor or high-tech experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Process parts using chemical and manual cleaning methods.
• Follow SOPs, Lean manufacturing practices, safety protocols.
• Maintain organized work area and complete required training.
• Attend safety meetings and training; handle hazardous chemicals safely.
• Report task progress and complete task goals efficiently.
