Job summary

UCT is hiring a Technician I in Scarborough, ME to support Advanced Technology Cleaning Centers. You will perform precision cleaning and processing of tool chamber parts in a cleanroom and chemical environment, following SOPs and safety protocols to ensure quality and minimize contamination.

Key responsibilities include cleaning, masking, scrubbing, coating, drying, and packaging, plus required safety and certification training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• 1 year experience in manufacturing or materials processing.
• Certifications in chemical handling, cleanroom operations, or Lean manufacturing are a plus.
• Experience with parts cleaning and coating technologies is desirable.
• High-tech or semiconductor environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and manual cleaning of tool chamber parts.
• Follow SOPs, Lean manufacturing principles and policies.
• Complete required training and certifications for processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Attend safety meetings and training; handle hazardous chemicals safely.
• Accurately report task completion and log production data.
• Seek opportunities to expand skills and advance process knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
