Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Cleanroom Technician for 1st and 2nd shifts in Sorrento Valley, CA. The role supports daily production and packaging in a GMP-regulated environment, ensuring quality checks, GDP-compliant documentation, and timely product release using ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities include line clearances, machinery operation in a cleanroom, and adherence to FDA/ISO guidelines. Candidates should have 4+ years of relevant experience and a strong grasp of SOPs, GDP, and GMP practices.

Qualifications

• At least four years of assembly or packaging experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong SOP knowledge with ability to explain SOPs and provide examples.
• Clear understanding of GDP and how it was followed in prior roles.
• Hands-on line clearances with accurate examples of the process.
• Experience in regulated medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with GMP and QA practices in manufacturing.
• Able to operate machines, packaging, inspection, and computer-based tasks.
• Comfortable with ERP systems, including SAP, and MRP data handling.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills and data documentation proficiency.
• Reliable with attendance and ability to meet production deadlines.
• Ability to communicate manufacturing terminology and acronyms clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily production and packaging activities following GMP and SOPs.
• Work toward production goals and handle peaks to prevent back orders.
• Collaborate with Team Leader to understand materials, procedures, and specs.
• Identify material or product issues and support corrective actions.
• Conduct in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished products.
• Maintain records in line with GDP and SOPs; document batch details.
• Use MRP/ERP systems to report and manage batch materials.
• Perform line clearances and ensure product integrity and compliance.
• Operate production machinery safely in a cleanroom environment.
• Adhere to GDP, GMP, GLP, FDA, ISO guidelines and safety practices.
• Demonstrate reliability and flexibility for overtime including Saturdays.
