Job summary
Aerotek in Boise, Idaho seeks a Cleanroom Technician to join a long‑term semiconductor equipment installation project. You will assist with assembly, installation, testing and startup of specialized equipment, working alongside experienced engineers from Taiwan in a high‑demand manufacturing environment.
The role requires following detailed procedures, maintaining safety and quality, and performing equipment setup in a cleanroom.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade/technical training preferred.
- Long-term assignment with reliable attendance.
- Basic English communication.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom and complete required training.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or construction.
- Experience with electrical wiring, pneumatics, tubing, or process equipment.
- Mandarin/Chinese language skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install semiconductor equipment.
- Support electrical wiring and cable routing activities.
- Assist with tubing, piping, and utility connections.
- Perform equipment setup and machine testing.
- Support troubleshooting under engineer direction.
- Prepare tools, equipment, materials and installation components.
- Follow detailed installation instructions and procedures.
- Work safely in a cleanroom environment after training.
