Job summary

Qnity in Newark is seeking a Polish Lab Technician to support cleanroom operations and laboratory trials. You will work with scientists and engineers to set up experiments, maintain lab housekeeping, and ensure safety.

Responsibilities include operating metrology tools (SEM, AFM, film-thickness instruments), recording data in the LIMS system, and basic troubleshooting of electropneumatic equipment, with emphasis on teamwork and detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and teamwork.
• Independent problem solving with attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to wear PPE and work in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Support clean room operations to facilitate polishing trials.
• Set up and tear down experiments; maintain lab housekeeping and hazardous waste protocols.
• Operate metrology tools such as SEM, AFM, and film-thickness instruments.
• Record test information in LIMS and communicate results to trial owners.
• Provide first-level troubleshooting and maintenance of electropneumatic equipment.
• Collaborate with team to organize pre- and post-trial measurements.
