Job summary

High Purity Silicon America Corp seeks an Inner Packaging Inspector to work in Finishing, ensuring quality and safety in a high-rate production environment. You will perform visual inspections, weigh parts, and maintain traceability across production lots while adhering to strict clean-room protocols.

You will handle customer-specific specifications, operate scales and bagging equipment, and maintain accurate electronic records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; certifications such as Chemical Operator, ISO 9001 and/or 14001 preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and perform repair tasks on equipment.
• Proficient in basic math and measurements (calipers, tape measure, rulers).
• Experience with MS Office, especially Excel, for data entry and record keeping.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and weigh small, 11-lb pieces to meet customer specifications.
• Maintain product and supply inventories.
• Operate scales and bag sealers; manage paperwork.
• Ensure tracking and traceability of lot data across inspection steps.
• Keep work area clean and organized; handle basket/cart movement.
• Record seed/rod/lot data and produce related reports in MS Excel.
