Job summary

Qualifications

• Optical school graduate or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with optical measurement tools, gauges and meters.
• Attention to detail and neat, accurate work.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, align, bond, and test free-space optical assemblies and laser heads in a clean room environment.
• Align and integrate optical components such as lenses, mirrors, beam splitters and other precision elements.
• Operate laser systems and optical test equipment to verify alignment and product performance.
• Perform functional testing and inspection to ensure assemblies meet specs.
• Troubleshoot assembly and alignment issues and work with engineering on solutions.
• Document assembly, testing and inspection results according to procedures.
• Follow clean room and laser safety requirements and ESD protocols.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and quality.
• Maintain regular attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
