Job summary

Jobot Consulting in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a hands-on Electronics QA professional for high-volume PCB and component assembly. You will inspect, test, and document quality, operating precision metrology tools in a cleanroom environment.

The role requires IPC-610 or willingness to obtain, plus experience with CMM/AOI and fault-resolution with cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail and rapid problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in electronic assembly and inspection, focusing on PCBs, drives, and chips.
• Experience in cleanroom environments (Class 10,000 or ISO 7).
• IPC-A-610 certification or willingness to obtain; Six Sigma/Lean/SMT certs are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and inspect small electronic components in a high-volume production environment.
• Operate and maintain precision inspection equipment (CMM, OMM, AOI, microscopes).
• Perform quality checks and functional testing on electronic assemblies.
• Document defects and support corrective actions; contribute to continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain to resolve issues and improve quality.
• Adhere to cleanroom protocols (Class 10,000) and full bunny suit; maintain strict quality.
• Assist with inspection methodologies and process improvements.
