Job summary

Murrietta Circuits in Southern California is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support the Assembly Quality Department in our PCBA manufacturing environment. You will perform First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspections to ensure parts meet customer requirements, IPC standards, and internal specs.

The ideal candidate reads assembly drawings, identifies components, and uses microscopes to verify placement and workmanship.

Qualifications

• IPC-A-610 Certification preferred.
• J-STD-001 Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic components and PCB assembly processes.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience performing microscope inspection.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to sit for extended periods during inspection.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect SMT and through-hole electronic assemblies for workmanship and compliance

• Read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, BOMs, and customer documentation

• Work closely with Assembly, Engineering, and Quality teams to support production requirements
• Ensure compliance with IPC standards, customer specifications, and company quality procedures

Quality Control Inspector – Assembly Quality Department

Murrietta Circuits is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support our Assembly Quality Department within our Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) manufacturing environment.

This position is responsible for performing First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspection of assembled circuit boards to ensure compliance with customer requirements, IPC standards, and internal quality specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience identifying electronic components, reading assembly drawings, and performing microscope inspection in a manufacturing environment.

This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the ability to maintain accuracy while performing repetitive inspection tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• AS9100 manufacturing environment
• Quality inspection or electronics manufacturing experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to use microscopes and inspection equipment for prolonged periods
• Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity required
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
