The Envelop Group's QAS division is seeking a Controlled Environment Service Technician to test, certify, and service critical environment systems across Michigan. You will work with HVAC, cleanrooms, BSCs, HEPA systems, and contamination control, delivering high-quality customer service and accurate documentation.

Frequent local travel within Michigan is required. You will read drawings, perform balancing, certify cleanrooms and related equipment, verify room pressurization, and support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred (mechanical/electrical).
• 3+ years in controlled environment testing, TAB, HVAC, or related field.
• Solid understanding of airflow, pressurization, filtration, and cleanroom use.
• Experience with cleanroom certification procedures and environmental monitoring.
• Familiarity with USP <797>/<800>, NSF ISO standards and contamination control.
• Ability to gown/de-gown per cleanroom and USP requirements.
• Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Perform startup, testing, certification, and troubleshooting for airflow and cleanroom systems.
• Read drawings and interpret specs to determine balancing methods and project approaches.
• Certify cleanrooms, BSCs, laminar flow hoods, HEPA systems per standards and SOPs.
• Measure airflow, verify room pressurization, test HEPA integrity, and assist startups.
• Assist with installation verification, startup support, and field adjustments.
• Follow gowning and safety protocols; proper material handling in controlled env.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and commissioning reports.
• Attend site meetings and complete closeout documentation and training.
• Attend manufacturer training for lab control and air monitoring systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
