The job
About the role

Help a cleaning crew deliver consistent work while staying hands-on. You coordinate the job, teach practical methods, check quality, and keep the office informed when an assignment needs help or a decision. You still clean.

Applicants normally join as Cleaners and earn consideration for lead responsibility through demonstrated work. Exceptional, verified cleaning and leadership experience may support direct entry. Applying for leadership does not guarantee a Team Lead appointment.

What you'll do
  • Review the service order, room checklist, crew assignment, approved add-ons, access, pets, customer restrictions and safety concerns before work begins.
  • Divide work clearly, match assignments to each cleaner's demonstrated ability, and coordinate the crew through the job.
  • Clean alongside the team using Tablerock's approved kitchen, bathroom, floor, dusting, glass and detail-cleaning methods.
  • Demonstrate methods, explain the reason for a correction, and check that newer cleaners can apply what they've learned.
  • Check high-risk surfaces and detailed areas, review completed rooms, and help correct missed or incomplete work within the assignment.
  • Verify that checklists, required photos, job notes, add-on records and supply-hygiene confirmations accurately reflect the work performed.
  • Resolve routine coordination problems and tell the office promptly about safety, access, damaged property, staffing, supplies, time or scope changes.
  • Lead the final walkthrough and confirm equipment removal, pet safety, property security and documented lockup before the crew leaves.

You coordinate room assignments, give practical direction and require corrections within the approved scope. Stop unsafe work and protect every crew member's ability to report concerns. Take changes to scope, price, scheduling or customer remedies, and employee matters, to a manager.

What good work looks like

The crew understands its assignments and the work meets the approved standard. Newer cleaners learn rather than having their tasks silently taken over. Problems are documented and raised early, and quality, truthful records, safe methods and care for customer property stay consistent through the whole job.

Working conditions
  • An active field role: prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, stairs, repetitive motions, and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and 40 pounds occasionally, around pets, dust, cleaning products and wet floors.
  • Tablerock provides required protective equipment at no cost.
  • The employee portal runs on your personal smartphone; Tablerock does not currently provide a field phone or a phone or data stipend. Location is captured at check-in and check-out. It is not tracked continuously or while you are off the clock.
  • Travel time between jobs during the workday is paid working time.
  • Anyone on your crew who feels unsafe may leave and contact the office, and you back that decision.
  • Driving assignments require a valid driver's license, current personal auto insurance and Tablerock's safe-driving practices.
What you need
  • At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation and a personal smartphone with a camera, location services and a data connection.
  • Demonstrated ability to clean to Tablerock's standards and to recognize quality or safety problems.
  • Reliable attendance, sound judgment, clear communication and accurate documentation.
  • Ability to organize a small crew, teach patiently, give useful feedback and stay professional with customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to perform essential physical functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred: verified professional cleaning experience and a record of coaching others, coordinating field work or leading a small team.

How hiring works
Hiring

Tablerock hires and advances people on job-related skills, demonstrated work and judgment, provides reasonable accommodations, and prohibits discrimination, harassment and retaliation.
