Job summary

Maleko Personnel is seeking a Cleaner Lead to supervise a team of cleaning staff, assign daily tasks, inspect work for quality, and uphold safety standards to ensure client satisfaction. You will lead by example while performing cleaning duties as needed.

Responsibilities include training and mentoring employees, managing equipment and supplies, tracking attendance and inspections, addressing client concerns promptly, and reporting maintenance or safety issues to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous professional cleaning experience required.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning staff.
• Assign work schedules and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
• Inspect cleaned areas to ensure quality standards are met.
• Train, mentor, and support new and existing employees.
• Perform cleaning duties alongside the team when necessary.
• Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and report supply needs.
• Follow and enforce company policies, safety procedures, and cleaning protocols.
• Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
• Report maintenance issues, incidents, or safety hazards to management.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, inspections, and completed work.
