Sodexo Ltd in the UK is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, and to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety across the site. You will manage staffing, budgets and training while delivering excellent service to clients and colleagues.

You’ll oversee health and safety, develop the team through coaching, and build strong client relationships to ensure smooth operations and compliance with contractual requirements.

Formación

• Experience in a similar supervisory role within the service industry.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage resources effectively.
• Experience working to standards and compliance requirements, with a good knowledge of health and safety and COSHH.
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely.
• Good communication, leadership and team management skills, with experience managing client relationships.
• Cleaning qualifications, IOSH, knowledge of quality standards, or experience in a military environment would be an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organise and oversee all cleaning and housekeeping activities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and service are maintained in line with contractual requirements.
• Manage staffing, rotas, labour costs, stock ordering and budgets to support operational efficiency and site performance.
• Monitor health and safety standards, ensure company equipment is maintained, and report any faults or concerns to management.
• Lead, support and develop the cleaning team through regular briefings, meetings, training and performance reviews.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, customers and colleagues, working with other department managers to ensure smooth operations.
• Visit Reading ARC weekly to deliver mandatory training, provide equipment and oversee operations, while continuing to develop your own skills and knowledge.
