Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Cleaner to join our friendly, supportive team on-site. You will help keep facilities clean, safe and welcoming, carrying out a range of day-to-day cleaning duties as part of a dedicated team.

Good communication, reliability and pride in high standards are valued. Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but full training will be provided. You’ll follow health, safety, security and COSHH procedures and be prepared to support other areas when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is an advantage, but not essential — full training will be provided.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, professional approach.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Willing to complete required training and follow all health, safety, security and COSHH procedures.
• Willing to undergo the required security checks, including BPSS where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks across areas such as kitchens, meeting rooms, toilets and offices.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and replenish supplies such as toilet roll, hand soap and sanitiser.
• Follow all company policies, including infection control, security and COSHH requirements, and complete required training.
• Work safely at all times by wearing the correct PPE and following Sodexo procedures.
• Report any safety concerns, faulty equipment or other issues to your manager, and be flexible to support other areas when needed.
