Job summary

Total Cleaning seeks a detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist for an evening shift in Miami. The role focuses on cleaning floors and surfaces, following safety protocols, and maintaining organized storage areas.

You will work as part of a team to ensure high-quality results across offices and common spaces. Ideal candidates have cleaning experience, are meticulous, and can pass a background check and drug test.

• Maintenance and/or cleaning experience required.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous work style.
• Must pass a Background Check and Drug Test.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and surfaces using prescribed cleaning methods and procedures.
• Mix appropriate proportions of cleaning and disinfecting materials following safety protocols.
• Dust, mop and sweep offices, break areas, restrooms, and common areas according to the account.
• Clean and disinfect areas per scope of work.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Inform supervisor of supply needs and equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized storage area for cleaning supplies.
• Organize janitorial storage closet and secure interior spaces as needed.

Cleaning Specialist - Cleaner with Janitorial Experience

START IMMEDIATELY - Cleaner with Janitorial Experience.

Schedule and Location: Miami - Monday through Friday

7pm-9:30pm (12.5 hours/ Weekly).

We are looking for cleaning specialists that are dedicated, detailed oriented and passionate about delivering exceptional quality.

What You'll Do:

• Clean floors and surfaces using prescribed cleaning methods and procedures
• Mix appropriate proportions of cleaning and disinfecting materials following safety protocols.
• Dust, mop and sweep offices break areas, restrooms, common areas, or other type of rooms depending on the account assigned.
• Clean and disinfect areas as per scope of work.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Inform supervisor or Area Manager is any supplies are needed.
• Inform housekeeping supervisor of any cleaning equipment that may need repair or replacement.
• Inform housekeeping supervisor about any building hazard
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Organize janitorial storage closet as needed.
• Secure all interior offices if applicable.
• Shut off all lights if required.
• Set alarm if applicable and secure main entry door.
• Other duties as needed are based on scope of work.

What We're Looking For:

• Maintenance and/or cleaning experience.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous.
• Must be able to perform tasks that involve light lifting, bending, and stooping.
• Must be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Must always maintain a strong awareness of safety.
• Must be able to pass a Background Check.
• Must be able to pass Drug Test.
