Job summary

Total Cleaning in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a cleaner with janitorial experience. The position is part-time, 6pm–8pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 10 hours per week. You will clean floors, surfaces, restrooms, common areas, and report supply needs while following safety procedures.

We value reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; background and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and/or cleaning experience required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous.
• Must be a team player with a can-do attitude.
• Able to perform light lifting, bending, and stooping.
• Strong safety awareness at all times.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and surfaces using prescribed cleaning methods and procedures.
• Mix appropriate proportions of cleaning and disinfecting materials following safety protocols.
• Dust, mop and sweep offices, break areas, restrooms, common areas, or other rooms according to the account.
• Clean and disinfect areas per scope of work.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Inform supervisor or Area Manager when supplies are needed.
• Inform housekeeping supervisor of equipment needing repair or replacement.
• Inform housekeeping supervisor about any building hazards.
• Maintain a clean, organized storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Organize janitorial storage closet as needed.
• Secure all interior offices if applicable.
• Shut off lights if required.
• Set alarm and secure main entry door.
• Perform other duties as per scope of work.

START IMMEDIATELY -

Cleaner with Janitorial Experience. Schedule and Location: Fort Lauderdale - Monday through Friday from 6pm to 8pm (10 hours/ Weekly).

We are looking for cleaning specialists that are dedicated, detailed oriented and passionate about delivering exceptional quality.

What You'll Do:

• Clean floors and surfaces using prescribed cleaning methods and procedures


• Mix appropriate proportions of cleaning and disinfecting materials following safety protocols.


• Dust, mop and sweep offices break areas, restrooms, common areas, or other type of rooms depending on the account assigned.


• Clean and disinfect areas as per scope of work.


• Empty trash receptacles.


• Inform supervisor or Area Manager is any supplies are needed.


• Inform housekeeping supervisor of any cleaning equipment that may need repair or replacement.


• Inform housekeeping supervisor about any building hazard


• Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies.
