Job summary

Total Cleaning is looking for a Custodian Day Porter to support a high-end Boca Raton resort. The role involves cleaning floors and surfaces, following safety protocols, and maintaining break areas and restrooms. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10am to 4:30pm (32.5 hours weekly).

The ideal candidate is dedicated, detail-oriented, and comfortable walking long distances on a large property. Prior janitorial experience and a safety-conscious mindset are essential to deliver exceptional

Qualifications

• Maintenance and/or cleaning experience.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous.
• Must be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Must be able to perform tasks that involve light lifting, bending, and stooping.
• Must always maintain a strong awareness of safety.
• Must be able to pass a Background Check.
• Must be able to pass Drug Test.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and surfaces using prescribed cleaning methods and procedures.
• Mix appropriate proportions of cleaning and disinfecting materials following safety protocols.
• Dust, mop and sweep break areas, elevators, gyms and restrooms, common areas, or other type of rooms.
• Clean and disinfect areas as per scope of work.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Inform supervisor or Area Manager if any supplies are needed.
• Inform of any cleaning equipment that may need repair or replacement.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Organize janitorial storage closet as needed.
• Secure all interior offices if applicable.
• Shut off all lights if required.
• Set alarm if applicable and secure main entry door.
• Other duties as needed are based on scope of work.
