Job summary

Clean Team in North Toledo, OH is hiring a dependable Site Lead / Day Porter for daytime commercial cleaning. This hands-on leadership role runs 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with a focus on keeping the site running smoothly and safely.

You will complete your own cleaning tasks and also lead the on-site team, ensuring quality standards, training teammates, and stepping in wherever needed to maintain a clean, professional environment while growing into a supervisory role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation with current auto insurance.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong attention to detail and consistent attendance.
• Comfortable leading by example and supporting team members.
• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including restrooms, common areas, offices, and high-traffic spaces.
• Step in and cover cleaning duties when team members are absent.
• Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure all areas meet company quality standards.
• Maintain clean and organized janitor closets and storage areas.
• Refill chemical bottles, change vacuum bags, and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the Area Manager.
• Ensure restrooms and common areas remain fully stocked throughout the shift.
• Secure the building at the end of the shift (lights, doors, alarms if applicable).
