Clean Team is seeking a dependable On-Site Lead to oversee daily janitorial operations at our Elkton, Michigan account. This part-time role supports the Account Manager, ensures the facility meets our cleaning standards, and leads a small on-site team of cleaning associates.

Ideal candidates have prior commercial cleaning or supervisory experience, strong communication, and reliable transportation. Hours are 5pm–11pm, offering steady evening shifts in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning or team leadership preferred.
• Strong time management and conflict-resolution skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Customer Service: Routinely inspect the facility to ensure cleaning standards meet guidelines, address client feedback promptly, and secure strong customer retention.
• Team Leadership & Training: Train, mentor, and supervise On-Site Cleaning Associates. Identify high-performing team members and provide coaching as needed.
• Operations & Supply Management: Monitor labor hours, manage daily shift agendas, and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Communication & Problem Solving: Coordinate with the Account Manager to resolve issues, communicate schedules, and address operational needs.

Role Overview

We are currently seeking a dependable, self-motivated On-Site Lead to oversee daily janitorial operations at our account in Elkton, Michigan. In this role, you will serve as the primary on-site manager, working closely with your Account Manager to ensure the facility remains spotless, fully compliant with company standards, and well-supported by a dedicated cleaning team.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Customer Service: Routinely inspect the facility to ensure cleaning standards meet company guidelines, address client feedback promptly, and secure strong customer retention.

• Team Leadership & Training: Train, mentor, and supervise On-Site Cleaning Associates. Identify high-performing team members and recognize areas where additional coaching or skills training is needed.

• Operations & Supply Management: Monitor labor hours, manage daily shift agendas, and maintain appropriate inventory levels for all cleaning supplies and equipment.

• Communication & Problem Solving: Work directly with the Account Manager to resolve operational issues efficiently, resolve workplace conflicts, and communicate schedule updates or operational needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or team leadership preferred.

• Decision-Making: Strong decision-making, time management, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Communication: Ability to give and receive constructive feedback effectively.

• Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance.
