DARCARS Automotive Group is seeking a Cleaning/Maintenance Porter to help maintain a clean, safe dealership environment and manage the lot inventory and vehicle displays. You’ll work across the showroom, service drive and lot to ensure a welcoming experience for customers and staff.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, the ability to lift 30 lbs and work outdoors, and the willingness to pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Empty and tidy all trash receptacles.
• Support inventory display and tag vehicles as needed.
• Move and deliver vehicles as directed by management.
• Report safety concerns to supervision.

DARCARS Automotive Group is now seeking a Cleaning/Maintenance Porter!

*Must have a valid drivers license*

As the Cleaning/ Maintenance Porteryou will play an extremely important role in customer satisfaction and the overall continued success of our company. In this role, you are responsible for the dealership cleaning and maintenance as well aslot management including cleanup and display of the dealership's vehicle inventory.

For this role, you'll need:

• Excellent communication skills with both customers and DARCARS employees
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs
• Ability to work outdoors and on your feet for extended periods of time in various weather conditions
• Ability to operate manual transmission is highly preferred
• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background)

In this role, you'll:

• Clean areas throughout the dealership to maintain a safe, clean and pleasant environment for dealership employees and customers.
• Sweep, vacuum and mopfloors.
• Cleanbathrooms and restockpaper supplies as needed.
• Emptyand cleanall trash receptacles, inside and outside.
• Notifysupervisor of required materials and supplies to perform duties.
• Maintain and organize dealership vehicleinventory
• Tag vehicles and vehicle keys
• Inspect vehicles for damage and verify that accessories are present and listed on the invoice
• Moveand delivervehicles as instructed by management
• Ensure that inventory is clean, presentable and displays proper DISCLAIMERS and vehicle information
• Reports to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees or customers
• Cleans driveway and walkways, removing debris, ice, and snow, as necessary
• Complies with DARCARS policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
