Job Description:

This position is a part of our Contents/Cleaning team; some common responsibilities include packing contents out of a damaged home, cleaning/restoring contents either onsite or at our cleaning facility, cleaning the structure, storing contents, and packing back contents. Respond to service calls as needed and perform services as assigned, following SERVPRO production guidelines. Communicate with the crew chief to make sure all customer needs are met. Support crew chief and other production personnel as needed. Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and office areas, as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.

Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.

Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.

Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.

Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.

Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up

Position Requirements

Valid driver’s license

Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.

IICRC certification is a plus.

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)

Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.

Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
