Job summary

Rochester’s Cornerstone Group seeks a dependable Cleaner/Light Maintenance Technician to join the Syracuse, NY team. You will perform janitorial duties, light maintenance, and ensure the property's cleanliness and curb appeal.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of related experience. On-site work, on-call availability, and a valid driver’s license are expected, with compensation in the $21.00–$24.00/hour range.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in grounds, janitorial, light maintenance or building systems.
• Ability to respond to on-call requests and work at designated sites.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate, monitor, and perform janitorial duties and light maintenance at the site.
• Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal indoors and outdoors.
• Ensure thorough cleaning of common areas and take pride in workmanship.
• Demonstrate initiative and accountability in daily tasks.
• Perform snow removal and basic landscaping as needed and assigned.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks and service requests as required.
• Inspect property regularly to maintain standards and appearance.
• Collaborate professionally with team and promote company culture.
