Responsibilities

• Clean and upkeep high-traffic and common areas throughout the day (lobbies, hallways, breakrooms, restrooms, elevators, conference rooms).
• Respond to janitorial service requests (spills, restocking supplies, spot-cleaning floors/windows/walls).
• Monitor entryways, doors, and exterior walkways; handle trash/recycling.
• Assist with meeting room setups and AV support as trained.

Our client, a professional facilities management organization, is seeking a dedicated Cleaner/Janitor/Custodian to join their team. As a Cleaner/Janitor/Custodian, you will be part of the facilities support team supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $16-$18

Shift:

What's the Job?

• Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of high-traffic and common areas throughout the day, including lobbies, hallways, breakrooms, restrooms, elevators, and conference rooms.
• Respond promptly to janitorial-related service requests, including spills, restocking restroom supplies, and spot-cleaning floors, windows, or walls as needed.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and appearance of entryways, glass doors, and exterior walkways (including trash pickup or minor snow/ice clearing, if applicable).
• Empty and relining trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facility.
• Assist with meeting room setups or breakdowns, including furniture arrangement, AV support (if trained), and cleanliness between uses.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• 2-3 years of experience in janitorial, custodial, or facilities support roles preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques, tools, and janitorial equipment (e.g., vacuums, buffers, mop systems).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
