Job summary

North Country JanitorialInc. is seeking a full-time cleaner to maintain clean and orderly buildings in Glens Falls, NY. Duties include floor care, trash removal, window cleaning, restroom service, and general upkeep.

Must be able to follow supervisor instructions and meet basic cleanliness standards. Position is 2nd shift, weekends, with benefits such as medical insurance, life insurance, paid vacation, paid sick days, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Valid clean driver’s license may be required for some positions.
• Neat and clean appearance – uniforms required. No shorts will be worn.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming as per account specifications and supervisor’s instruction.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Notify management of repairs as needed.

Our clients include medical offices, banks, industrial offices, shop areas, real estate offices, schools, veterinary clinics, counseling centers, and manufacturing plants just to name a few. We cover a territory from Albany NY up to the Canadian border.

Job Skills / Requirements

Pay Range $17.00 to $18.00 per hour

Position summary:

Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include notifying management of need for repairs.

Tasks:

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them as per each individual account specification and supervisor’s instruction.
• Gather and empty trash.
