Job summary

North Country JanitorialInc. is seeking a reliable full-time cleaner to maintain commercial spaces in a clean, orderly condition.

You will perform heavy cleaning duties such as floors, walls, glass, and rubbish removal across multiple accounts, following supervisor instructions and account specifications. Duties include sweeping, mopping, trash collection, window cleaning, restroom service, dusting, and polishing furniture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) preferred but not required.
• Must have a neat & clean appearance – company uniforms required. No shorts will be worn.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.

These services include general cleaning, carpet cleaning, hard floor care, window cleaning, dust removal and rental mat service. We tailor our services to meet the individual needs of our clients. Our clients include medical offices, banks, industrial offices, shop areas, real estate offices, schools, veterinary clinics, counseling centers, and manufacturing plants just to name a few. We cover a territory from Albany NY up to the Canadian border.

Job Skills / Requirements

Pay Range: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour

Position summary:

Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include notifying management of need for repairs.

Tasks:

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them as per each individual account specification and supervisor’s instruction.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
