Job description

Summary/Objective

The Cleaner/Brusher position involves removing weld spatter in the Robot Department Weld process for metal structures. This is achieved using an air-driven wire wheel to ensure parts meet the required shipping criteria, maintaining our quality standards for the customer. The role requires communication with co-workers regarding production runs and maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

Essential Functions

1. Safely unload and load designated racks of carriers to the Brusher Table.
2. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) principles and practices related to the Cleaner/Brusher application.
3. Label completed racks with proper placards as per SOWI.
4. Contain reworkable, repairable, or damaged parts in the Non-Conformance area, awaiting skilled rework specialists.
5. Move completed rolling racks safely to the designated staging area for the next process.
6. Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
7. Communicate with other departments as necessary.
8. Keep work areas clean and organized.
9. Adhere to all company rules and policies.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
