Job summary

IFS in Marlborough, MA is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our Janitorial Services Team. The role involves cleaning restrooms and office areas, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining a tidy facility in a fast-paced environment.

Hours vary with evenings, including some weekends; schedule currently is 21 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday 5pm–8pm and Thursday to Saturday 5pm–9pm. The successful candidate will follow safety and quality standards and may perform other janitorial duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in building and warehouse cleaning work.
• Ability to follow instructions and read safety documents.
• Good communication with officials, staff and the public in a courteous manner.
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.

Shifts Available

I need an employee to work in this site 21 hrs per week. The schedule is Monday to Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm and thursday to saturday from 5pm to 9pm

Summary Of Duties

• Cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), office areas
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, removing trash
• Ensure all walkways are clean and tidy at all times
• Clean totes and other items
• Some deep cleaning, as needed
• Follow all safety and quality standards
• Other basic janitorial duties as assigned

Requirements For Our Cleaner Position

• Experience in building and warehouse cleaning work.
• Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral or written instructions.
• Communication skills to relate to officials, staff and public in a courteous manner.
• Disposition to perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required).
