Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a Weekend Swing Clean Room Associate I to support visual inspection, cleaning, packaging, and labeling per customer specs and clean room procedures. You will operate automated lines, follow glove and gown protocols, and help maintain contamination controls in a fast-paced setting.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent or manufacturing clean room experience; 6 months of related work experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong reading comprehension is essential to follow detailed SOPs and OMS docs.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality and prevent contamination.
• Good interpersonal and written communication to work with diverse teams.
• Ability to work with others and in a team oriented environment.
• Manufacturing experience in clean rooms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect, clean, package and label product per customer specs and clean room procedures.
• Operate automated blasting and cleaning lines, load parts and monitor processes.
• Follow glove and gown protocols to prevent contamination; report deviations.
• Receive and stage product for manufacturing into Clean Room; follow procedures.
• Maintain cleaning tanks, walls, tables and fixtures per Clean Room procedures.
• Complete nonconformance reports with accurate records.
• Enforce entrance procedures of controlled areas to prevent contamination.
• Assist others to minimize contamination; follow containment procedures.
• Move parts; some may be fragile or heavy; maintain safe handling.
• Work at a steady production pace while ensuring quality and accuracy.
• May work across shifts/days as required.

Job Title: Clean Room Associate I (Weekend Swing)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, assists with visual inspection, cleaning, packaging and labeling product according to customer specifications and Company clean room procedures
• Operate automated blasting and automated cleaning lines, including loading parts into fixtures, selecting the correct program, and monitoring the process while parts run independently
• Follows established Glove and Gown protocols for Clean Room duties reporting any deviations to appropriate personnel to ensure product non-contamination
• Receives and stages product for manufacturing into Clean Room following all procedures
• Maintains cleaning tanks, walls, tables and fixtures in clean room following established Clean Room procedures
• Accurately completes required nonconformance reports ensuring accurate records
• Maintains and enforces entrance procedures of all controlled areas to ensure non-contamination of product; reports non-conformance to appropriate personnel
• Assists other Clean Room personnel in the proper contamination control; seeks to minimize contamination by adhering to established containment procedures
• Handle and move parts throughout the shift; parts may be fragile and some may be heavy
• Work at a steady, semi‑medium production pace while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Assists and/or performs in any and all areas as assigned
• May work any and all shifts/days as required

Job Requirements

• Hours: Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday, 12:00pm - 12:30am
• Shift Differential: $2.50/hour 12 hour shifts
• Training Requirement: Must be able to attend one week orientation on Day Shift, but will train on Swing shift after first week
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent OR manufacturing experience in a clean room environment
• Experience: Minimum 6 months related work experience
• Prior clean room experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with automated or semi‑automated equipment is highly desirable
• Experience with manufacturing a plus
• Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong reading comprehension is critical—must be able to read, understand, and strictly follow detailed work instructions, SOPs, and OMS documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Exhibits strong interpersonal, and organizational skills, great attention to detail as well as excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds
• Ability to stand for most of the shift
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Target Hiring Range Hourly: USD 19.00 - USD 22.00
• Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education.
