Job summary

Aerotek in Holly, MI is hiring a Clean Room Assembly Tech to join a leading electronics manufacturer for the medical device industry. The role focuses on precise hand-assembly and operating in a clean, air-conditioned environment with static-safe standards.

You will read job sheets, place small parts onto circuit boards, and operate SMT machines or testing equipment as needed. First shifts 7 a.m. - 3 p.m., contract to hire with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year work experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Experience as a CNC, SMT or PCBA operator, wire harness tech, solderer, electronics repair/assembly, wire puller, or in automotive electrical work.
• Ability to read from job sheets.
• Ability to work with small parts and have good hand dexterity.
• Ability to work on Saturdays.

• Handle circuit boards and various hardware moved by the pneumatic shuttle.
• Read job sheets explaining exactly what parts need to be placed.
• Place dime and quarter-sized pieces from bins by hand into circuit boards.
• Work as Operator A: Stand at work station putting parts the size of push tacks on circuit boards.
• Work as Operator B: Operate SMT machines or run testing machines on finished boards.
• Work as Operator C: Perform soldering work all day.

Work Environment

The entire production floor is clean room rated and air-conditioned. The environment is very quiet, as everything is moved by pallet jacks. First shift operates from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., second shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and third shift from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Employees must be available to work Saturdays as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holly, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
