Job summary

SMF in Anderson, SC is hiring a Clean & Prep Operative for a full-time role. You will prepare metal parts for painting, use hand and power tools to clean surfaces, and inspect finished work for quality and accuracy while adhering to safety standards.

The ideal candidate may have prior manufacturing experience, with training provided in blueprint reading, quality procedures, and inspection tasks. Physical fitness and reliable work attendance are required.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to be trained in quality, safety, blueprint reading and inspection.
• Ability to read and follow directions and operate machinery.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
• Pulmonary Function Test may be required for certain roles.

Pay Range: $18.25 - $23.19
