Job summary

Etnyre International in Oregon, IL is seeking a motivated Clean and Prep Operative to prep parts for painting and shipment. You will clean, assemble, and prepare parts to meet work orders, quality and safety standards in a hands-on, team-based environment.

The role offers a first shift (5 AM–3:30 PM) with overtime as needed, competitive hourly pay, bonuses, PTO, 401(k) with company match, and low-cost health coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of required production, quality, and safety training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and use cranes or lifting devices for heavier loads.
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Clean parts using hand and powered tools to remove slag and surface debris.
• Wash parts using wash booths or approved chemical solvents in preparation for painting.
• Perform assembly work according to work order specifications and required tolerances.
• Inspect parts regularly to ensure quality standards are met.
• Package finished parts for shipment per work order requirements.
• Record accurate labor and production data.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
• Support other production tasks as needed.
