We are investing to integrate distributed resources into our electric and gas systems, support electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and scale adoption of energy efficiency and clean heating technologies across our customers.

The E-Mobility Electric Vehicles Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) stations funded through Con Edisons PowerReady program provide the customer experience needed to drive EV adoption in New York State. The Program Manager will work with operational, strategy, and legal teams to develop and implement a post-installation compliance process that supports first-in-class operations and data reporting of incentivized EVSE stations.


Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities


  • The E-Mobility Electric Vehicles Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) stations funded through Con Edisons PowerReady program provide the customer experience needed to drive EV adoption in New York State. The Program Manager will work with operational, strategy, data and legal teams to develop and implement a post-installation compliance process that supports first-in-class operations and data reporting of incentivized EVSE stations.

  • Lead the development of a proactive, customer-centric culture to foster trust and confidence among customers, program participants, electric vehicle supple equipment (EVSE) developers, and technology providers, and build, maintain, and create new relationships.

  • Oversee all aspects of post-installation program compliance including planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing resources needed to achieve EVSE infrastructure goals.

  • Lead collaboration with other members of the E-Mobility team, as well as other internal departments including law and digital technology teams.

  • Coordinate closely with the E-Mobility Business Development team to ensure accurate messaging of compliance requirements.

  • As needed, support administrative aspects of the program including program design, budget, and timely and accurate incentive payments and reporting.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on performance and compliance rates of EVSE funded through the program.

  • As applicable, coordinate the work of contractors and support the development of project resources.

  • Develop collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximize benefits to the Company.

  • Liaise with Department of Public Service Staff and represent the Company on various committees/interest groups pertaining to electric vehicle programs.

  • Represent the Company at industry conferences and meetings with external stakeholders related to the development of EVSE projects.

  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

  • Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.


Qualifications

Required Education/Experience


  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years' work experience


Preferred Education/Experience


  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years' work experience with 1 year of experience leading or supporting clean energy projects or programs.


Relevant Work Experience


  • Demonstrated experience analyzing information, both technical and financial, and making recommendations based on that information, required.

  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and writing skills, required.

  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills, and the ability to see the big picture as well as attention to detail, required.

  • Demonstrated flexibility to handle multiple assignments and deadlines, required.

  • Demonstrated agility and flexibility to deal with ambiguity and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, required.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project), required.

  • Experience presenting to small and large audiences, required.

  • Experience with or knowledge of electric vehicle technologies, preferred.

  • Working knowledge of Company operations and policies, preferred.

  • Experience working with local, County, City and State governments, preferred.

  • Experience working with Department of Public Service Staff and the preparation of regulatory filings, preferred.

  • 5 years of experience leading or supporting clean energy projects or programs, preferred.

  • 3 years in leadership or management roles, preferred.

  • The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
