Job summary

The Florida Bar in Tallahassee, Florida is seeking a Course Approval Specialist for the Legal Specialization & Education (LSE) Department. This in-office role reviews, evaluates, and assigns continuing legal education credits to programs, and advises members on delinquency and reinstatement procedures.

Responsibilities include coordinating CLER and BSCR processes, communicating accreditation policies, and handling data entry for credit hour assignments while supporting IT and member services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required, proof of degree at interview.
• One year administrative experience preferred; can substitute for degree on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, evaluates, and assigns continuing legal education credit to programs and activities.
• Advises bar members on delinquency and reinstatement rules and procedures.
• Corresponds with CLE providers regarding accreditation processes.
• Verifies CLER reporting affidavits and BSCR deferrals.
• Enters credit hour data and monitors member compliance.
