Job summary

The Florida Bar is seeking a Course Approval Specialist to support the Legal Specialization & Education Department in Tallahassee, FL. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; proof of degree required at interview.
• One year administrative experience preferred; may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
• Knowledge of office policies and procedures, administrative principles, and public relations techniques.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat.
• Proficiency with MS Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with AS400 or similar database.
• Strong typing, data entry, proofreading, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and assign CLE credit to programs and activities.
• Advise bar members on delinquency and reinstatement rules and procedures.
• Coordinate accreditation communications with CLE providers and internal stakeholders.
• Verify CLER reporting affidavits, BSCR deferrals, and extension requests.
