Qualifications

• Education and experience required: completion of student teaching and Illinois teaching certificate.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or Educator License with Stipulations (ELS) endorsed for this position.
• Knowledge of current teaching methods and classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instructional lessons aligned with program objectives.
• Evaluate pupil progress and maintain accurate records.
• Establish classroom rules and discipline according to CPS code.
• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
