Harlingen ISD is seeking an Instructional Aide to provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a classroom teacher. The role includes preparing instructional materials, supporting virtual learning through Google Classroom, and assisting with assessments.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, with an immediate starting date and a wage of $11.50 per hour. Applicants should have a high school diploma (or GED), state certification, and some experience with children.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or 2 years of college (48 sem. hours) required.
• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate.
• Some experience working with children.

Mansioni

• Provide instruction to students under the direction of a teacher, including individual or small group work.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials, displays, packets, attendance, and videos.
• Support lessons through virtual/distance learning via Google Classroom and other multimedia tools.
• Assist with administration and scoring of tests and assignments.
• Maintain a neat and orderly classroom and manage supplies.
• Supervise students during school activities and duties (lunch, bus, playground).
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in staff development and meetings.
• Follow district safety protocols and perform other duties as assigned.
