Job summary

RecruitFront is seeking a Teacher’s Aide to support instructional delivery in a classroom setting. You will assist with student care, behavior management, and classroom setup, helping students succeed by providing academic and administrative support.

Responsibilities include helping students with assistive technology, providing testing accommodations, reviewing prior lessons, collecting data, and maintaining open communication with the teacher.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent requirement.
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with physical care tasks and health-related activities as appropriate.
• Assist students with behavioral/management needs.
• Assist with daily classroom setup/preparation as directed by the teacher.
• Help students navigate the school environment.
• Assist students in the use of assistive technology/instructional resources.
• Provide student testing accommodations/modifications.
• Review previous lessons and concepts previously taught by the teacher.
• Collect various student data as directed by the teacher (e.g. behavior intervention plans, IEP goals, classroom management system).
• Become familiar with the student(s) IEP.
• Communicate effectively with teacher and necessary staff members.
• Foster student independence.
