Qualifications

• Licensing: First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of employment; DPS FPCC required.
• Knowledge of basic first aid, basic math, customer service, and classroom operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with classroom instruction and adapt materials for students needing modifications.
• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring as needed.
• Monitor student behavior inside and outside the classroom; escort students on campus.
• Prepare classroom for activities and organize homework folders; assist with grading papers.
• Attend in-service trainings and meetings; participate in testing and enter student data in computer systems.
• Maintain classroom displays and materials; communicate with parents; copy and distribute documents.
