Job summary

Uplift Education in Dallas seeks a Teacher Aide to provide clerical and instructional support, helping teachers plan and deliver lessons. You’ll contribute to a positive learning environment by assisting with grade records, materials, and student prep.

You will take attendance, grade assignments, distribute materials, supervise students, and assist with labs and instructional prep. Strong communication and basic MS Office skills are required; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• Experience: Previous work with children preferred.
• Certification: Hold a valid Teacher Aide Certificate or be in process.

Responsibilities

• Takes attendance and grades homework/tests.
• Distributes teaching materials to students.
• Maintains order within school and on grounds.
• Pulls small groups for differentiated instructional support.
• Takes substitute duties for teacher absences.
• Operates learning aids and projectors.
• Prepares requisitions for library materials and stockroom supplies.
• Types material and operates duplicating equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
